Youth-to-Men

The Young Organizers United To Help (Y.O.U.T.H) program now Youth To Men was created at Marietta High School in 1989 as an intervention and mentoring organization for male students at Marietta High School.

Purpose

The members of the Youth To Men group are encouraged to prepare themselves to be leaders in their schools, homes, churches, and communities. The members of Youth To Men are bound together by three principles: Brotherhood, Unity, and Service. During the academic year, Youth To Men participate in many impactful programs and community service initiatives throughout Cobb County. Each academic year, new students and families are recruited from approximately 20 High Schools primarily from the Cobb County School system.

Mission Statement

“Today’s Youth, tomorrow’s leaders, believe in the creation of inspired lives, produced by the miracles of hard work. We are not frightened by the challenges of reality but believe we can change our conception of this world and our place within it. We believe that one must earn the right to dream. So, we dream, plan, and work in that order. Our talent, discipline, and integrity will be our contribution to a new world. Because we believe that we can take this place, this time, these people, and make a better place, a better time, and better people.  With God, we either find a way or make one.”
