On Sunday March 9, 2025, the Youth To Men mentoring program sponsored a Career Fair at Osborne High School. The Career Fair helped support approximately 35 students develop a stronger appreciation for their career goals and objectives by engaging them with professionals from the business community, law enforcement, technology, medicine, entrepreneurship, and careers in public service. This interaction provided valuable insights into real-world careers, motivating students to refine their aspirations. Student participants also had the opportunity to learn essential networking skills and spent over 2 hours building professional connections. Mentees were able to ask questions and gain practical advice that will guide them in their future career journeys. Overall, the Career Fair fostered inspiration, skill-building, and real-world knowledge for the students.

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation is extremely grateful for the companies and individuals who supported this Career Day event. Their generosity of time and involvement played a crucial role in making the event a success. Through their participation and commitment to the success of our mentees, they provided invaluable insights, resources, and encouragement to the students by helping to inspire and shape their career aspirations. Their commitment to supporting the next generation is truly appreciated. The Foundation also would like to thank Mr. Greg Ford and Mr. Courtney McCrae for their dedication and leadership in helping to make the Career Fair such a meaningful experience for all involved !
