Ervin Keith Hollman Scholarship

The Ervin Keith Hollman Memorial Scholarship is awarded every year to deserving students graduating from the Cobb County School District. The scholarship is funded annually through net proceeds from our annual scholarship Golf classic named in his honor. This award is need-based and requires a minimum 2.25 GPA.

Award Amount: $2,000

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation Scholarship

Since 1986, the HACEF has committed to financially awarding scholarships to deserving high school graduating seniors with financial aid to help defray the cost of post-secondary education. This scholarship requires is a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Award Amount: $2,000.00

Vanigent - Biopharm Scholarship

The Vangient – Biopharm Scholarship will provide scholarship support to a student participating in the Youth To Men mentoring program and who is plans to enroll in an accredited college or university.

Award Amount: $1,000.00

The Nucor Charitable Foundation Scholarship

The HACEF – Nucor Charitable Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a deserving Youth To Men student graduating from the Cobb County School District. The scholarship is funded through a partnership between the HACEF and the Nucor Charitable Foundation. This award is need-based.

This is scholarship is for STEM majors with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA requirement.

Award Amount: $2,500.00

O'Riley Family Foundation Scholarship

The HACEF / O’Riley Family Scholarship will provide scholarship support to a deserving male or female Cobb County high school graduating senior who is plans to enroll in an accredited college or university.

Award Amount: $1,500.00

Mavis Tire Scholarship

The HACEF / Mavis Tire Scholarship for Women will provide financial and moral support for women who have shown a demonstrated desire to pursue a career in the automotive trade and industry by enrolling in a certified automotive training program. This scholarship award will be funded via a partnership between Mavis Tire And Brakes and the Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation, Inc.

This scholarship requires a 2.25 GPA minimum.

Award Amount: $2,500.00

Please note:  The scholarships offered through the HACEF are one-time, nonrenewable scholarships.

What is the HACF Scholarship Criteria (Award Amount: $2,000)?

  • Male high school senior
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Documented community service
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • 500-word essay (see HACF application for topic)
  • Extracurricular activities and awards
  • YouTube video (see scholarship application)
  • Scholarship is need-based
  • Awarded to a qualifying applicant from the Youth to Men group

What is the NUCOR Academic Scholarship Criteria (Award Amount: $2,500)?

  • Full-time student currently enrolled in a Cobb County high school
  • Letter of acceptance to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school
  • Planning to pursue coursework in a STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Letter from a 501(c)(3) nonprofit documenting at least 65 hours of community service
  • 2-minute YouTube video introducing yourself and sharing future goals and aspirations
  • Preference given to male participants in the Youth to Men mentoring program
  • Financial need will be considered in the final award decision

  • Recipients are encouraged to consider Mavis Tire as a potential employer upon successful completion of training
