Scholarships

We have awarded $155,000 in scholarships through four scholarship opportunities.

Ervin Keith Hollman Scholarship

The Ervin Keith Hollman Memorial Scholarship is awarded every year to deserving students graduating from the Cobb County School District. The scholarship is funded annually through net proceeds from our annual scholarship Golf classic named in his honor. This award is need-based.

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation Scholarship

Since 1986, the HACEF has committed to financially awarding scholarships to deserving high school graduating seniors with financial aid to help defray the cost of post-secondary education.

Bill Cheeks Scholarship

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation / William “Bill” Cheeks Scholarship will provide scholarship support to a deserving student who is enrolled or plans to enroll at an Historically Black College or University.

The HACE Endowment Scholarship

The HACEF Endowment are a long-term commitment of the organization. An endowment builds trust with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders, and is a part of the Foundation business plan.

Vaughn Family Scholarship

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation / Vaughn Family Scholarship will provide scholarship support to a deserving male or female Cobb County High School or Marietta High School graduating senior who is planning to enroll in one of 3 Public HBCU’s  in the state of Georgia; Savannah State University, Fort Valley State University, or Albany State University in the fall of 2025.

O'Riley Family Foundation Scholarship

The Henry Arthur Callis Education Foundation / O’Riley Family Scholarship will provide scholarship support to a deserving male or female Cobb County high school graduating senior who is plans to enroll in an accredited college or university in the fall of 2025.
